Hi, I'm Marina, an Illustrator and Graphic Designer from Germany with a BA in Communication Design, an MA in Applied Design Research, and an MA in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art (2025). For many years, I worked as a designer in the editorial industries before following my passion for creating and illustrating children's books.

Inspired by a childhood surrounded by nature and animals, my illustrations connect to the miraculous world around us. I enjoy exploring techniques like painting, collage, and printmaking, creating unique characters and stories with humor and charm that invite readers into imaginative, colorful worlds.

As co-founder of the creative platform Ataka La Taka we design and illustrate handmade products and offer creative workshops. Collaboration with Regina Dziallas and Lisa Stanzel.
